Cascade Twp. Rec. Park is a public park and the pb schedule is based on Social Open Play.  Residents and taxpayers are all welcome to play with the GRPC members. If someone desires to reserve a pb court for their own specific use, they must contact Cascade Township Parks directly or complete the application on the Cascade website.  
Open Play: If others are waiting to play, once your game is complete, winners stay and split and invite the waiting players to play.  Losers move to another court or wait for the next opening. 
All skill levels of play are welcome, however inexperienced players need to attend and complete a 1-hour Beginners Class before playing with other players. 
Courts are not numbered; however, Beginners will be on the West Courts and more advanced players on the East Courts. No courts are reserved for specific levels of play except what is listed below.  If you desire a specific level and time, contact Phyllis.

CASCADE PICKLEBALL CLASSES (West Courts) Beginner class covers the basics of pickleball. Wear flat soled shoes (tennis). Overview: Pickleball history, equipment, clothing, etiquette, grip, scoring, and basic strokes NO CLASS IF COURTS ARE WET! Don’t purchase a paddle or balls before your 1-hour Beginner class.
1. BEGINNER CLASS: Tuesday 6 PM – 7 PM (Paddles & balls supplied)
2. ADVANCED CLASS: Tuesday 7 PM – 8 PM

CASCADE OPEN PLAY: After each game, if busy, all 4 waiting players are rotated into play. If not busy, winners stay and split and 2 new pb players join. All are welcome: Beginner graduates – 4.5’s and even 5.0’s!

CASCADE CHANGES: Posted on the Grand Rapids Pickleball Club Fb Page, which hopefully you join after becoming a GRPC member, as it’s a closed group and this is where the GRPC members communicate.

Courts are available for reservations by calling the club and reserving a court.  Members may call up to 3 days in advance and non-members can call the day of play.  There is no charge for the court, however there is a $10 guest fee for non-members.
