• Belknap Court Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. Preference is given to early submissions, but is not a first-come, first-served scenario.
• Submit requests early. The deadline to make a request is two weeks prior to the date. The Grand Rapids Pickleball Club Board will make every effort to respond within 3 business days.
• Belknap court requests are only approved for stand-alone activities. Permission will not be given for a series of dates - requests will be considered separately.
• Limit court requests to non-prime hours (noon-5 p.m.).
• Total reservations are limited to 10 courts at the same time.
• Upon approval from the GRPC Board, fee payments are due. Requests of 1-6 courts require a $150 non-refundable fee plus a $100 refundable cleaning deposit. Requests of 7-10 courts require a $300 non-refundable fee plus a $100 refundable cleaning deposit. The reservation is not complete until the fees are collected.
• It is the organizer's responsibility to make sure Belknap Park is in the same or better shape after the reservation. Do no damage to the courts or any other items on the property, and clean up after yourself. The $100 cleaning deposit is refundable upon inspection and approval of the GRPC. The deposit is refundable upon the organizer's request after the day of reservation.
• A significant donation to the GRPC Belknap Enhancement Fund is required for revenue-generating events - relative to the size of the event. This is to ensure GRPC can maintain and improve Belknap Park and continue to have a championship-level facility available for our use.
• The GRPC calendar takes priority.
• Court requests must be made by GRPC members.
